About SESNET-Africa

Founded in 2016, SESNET-Africa is a Not-for-Profit Members Organization working to spawn job opportunities for the youth through marketing and installation sustainable sanitation facilities (toilets) in Ghana.

The organization’s existence is driven by three (3) main pillars:

  • Creating youth artisanal jobs through scaled-up construction of home toilets in low-income, peri-urban and rural communities by micro-small-medium enterprises (MSMEs); and

  • Provide hands-on practical training in field construction/installation of sanitary facilities by certified professional engineers, master-technicians and craftsmen; and

  • Partner public department, agencies, non-governmental and private entities to reduce youth Not in Education, Employment and Training (NEET).

SESNET-Africa acts as the main operations management anchor for Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives in home-toilet improvement and installation programmes by NTAGH members (made up of building material manufacturers and suppliers). SESNET-Africa and NTAGH operate a joint secretariate.

  • Serve as an online market hub for toilet industry stakeholders

  • Establish global linkages with similar organizations
  • Offer consultancy and support to members
